"How so?" You explained to him that you found out that her father abused her and she didn't want you to tell anyone. Out of concern, you told the most trusted teacher you had at your school. The teacher told Child Services and now he's in jail until court. Your friend found out you told and she started yelling at you and it turned into this big fight. You ran away from school and came to the tree you sit under.
"I don't think you should blame yourself for this. This isn't your fault. Besides, don't you think it's good that he's locked up instead so she's not in danger?"
"Yeah, I guess. But she makes me feel as if it's all my fault." He took your hand and looked at you intently.
"It's not. Trust me. You should be happy that's he isn't going to hurt her. She'll thank you for what you did once she realizes she won't have to go through the pain and suffering she had to go through before." You thought about it and smiled at him.
"Yeah. Thanks..."
"Aiden, and your name is?"
"________."
"Well, ________, I think we should get you back to the school, no matter how much you dread it. I'll walk in with you."
"You go here?"
"Yeah. I'm new here and I've seen you in the hallways."
"You probably think I'm one of the dorkiest girls on the planet."
"No. In fact, I think your the cutiest girl in the universe." You blush at his compliment.
"Thank you again."
"No problem. There's more where that came from. Do you want to go out to see a movie this weekend?"
"Sure." He smiled and you smiled back.
"Great." Then you were in front of your class and he gave you a small peck on your cheek. You blushed even more. "I'll see you later then."
"Bye." Then he walked away. It's been a year and a half since you two dated and you still love eachother. Your best friend eventually forgave you and you two were back to being friends. Everything has been great since you've met
